Gran Dì

Il Gran Dì is traded in an entire shape (about 38 Kg) or cut and vacuum-packed from 1/8 of shape (about 4.5 kg); in cuts from 1 Kg, 500 g, 300 g and 200 g fixed weight. Moreover, it is available grated, in bags from 100 g, 500 g, 1 kg, or in flakes in bags from 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg.

Gran Dì is produced in the European Community, in the big pasture in Bayer, produced in big shapes, with characteristics very similar to Grana Padano, it is ripened from 12 to 16 months.

Gran Dì is rich in essential and easily assimilated amino-acids, thanks to the presence of enzymes that modify the casein making it highly digestible.

Its long and complex ripening requires a constant control. During the ripening process the product is continuously cleaned and turned.
